Yogesh Saini, DVM, MVSc, Dual-PhD, Associate Professor of Pulmonary Immunology and Toxicology
Dr. Saini received his DVM (1996-2001) from College of Veterinary Sciences, Palampur (India) and MVSc in Veterinary Biochemistry and Biotechnology (2001-2003) from College of Veterinary Sciences, Pantnager (India). He completed his Senior Research Fellowship (2003-2005) at Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar (India). He received his dual-PhD (Genetics and Toxicology) under the supervision of Dr. John LaPres at Michigan State University in 2009. After completing his postdoctoral training (2010-2014) in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Boucher at the University of North Carolina (UNC), he was appointed as a faculty member at Marsico Lung Institute. Dr. Saini Joined LSU in 2014 as an Assistant Professor. He received his tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in 2019.
